Windows 7 : Error 1061

Pernah menggunakan Modem CDMA Sierra Wireless 598U? dan ternyata tidak bisa menggunakan ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)? dengan error code 1061 di Windows 7? aneh ya? awalnya saya pikir juga begitu. Usut punya usut, ternyata service Windows Installer tidak running alias running manual.

So, kamu cukup jalankan service Windows Installer-nya yg ada di Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services atau Start >> Run >> Services.msc. Cari service dengan nama Windows Installer. Start Service dan set run Automatic. Setelah itu, Restart Komputer. Dan coba lagi untuk sharing Connection.
